Established in 1962, the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) is the largest professional association for complementary, holistic beauty. They protect the public's health by ensuring high standards in both training and practice. 
 
The Federation of Holistic Therapists Tutor of the Year Award is aimed at tutors who have gone the extra mile, for example, given additional support to students or helped a class achieve its full potential. AVON BEAUTY ACCELORATOR PROGRAMME WINNER

Now an international beauty company, Avon was founded around the values of the power of community and economic freedom for women, in 1866. The first ever winner of Avon’s beauty accelerator programme for female entrepreneurs was Jennifer Young, awarded for the founding of The Jennifer Young Training School, and Beauty Despite Cancer, her creation of specialist beauty products for cancer patients and oncology massage courses.

The Professional Beauty Top 100 Industry Influencer List names the people making the biggest impact in the beauty and spa market right now. In December, Professional Beauty readers were asked to nominate individuals that they believed to be leading the industry forward in 2020.  

Jennifer Young earned a place on the final list, which brought together 100 business leaders who have created innovative products and treatments, built inspirational salon and spa businesses, led associations driving safer practice, and inspired the next generation with outstanding training and creativity. 

SATCC BOARD MEMBER

Recent changes in medical thinking and pioneering initiatives mean massages and facials aimed at cancer patients can now be performed with certainty, providing the correct protocols and training are in place.  The Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care (SATCC) is needed to ensure that this training is offered to an industry recognised standard throughout the UK and Ireland. Jennifer Young is a member of this board, helping to ensure high standards in oncology touch therapies, essential for client safety.
