This is a 2in1 Course Bundle.
Upon purchase, you should immediately be granted access to Auricular Acupuncture Level 1 for Non-Therapists. Once you have completed this, you will be granted access to Auricular Acupuncture Level 1 for Therapists. Finally, you will be granted the Certificate in Auricular Acupuncture for Weight Management.
*One day in-person training is required for Auricular Acupuncture Level 1. Weight Management is to be completed online. You will receive instructions on how to book your in-person training day in your confirmation email.

Auricular Acupuncture Level 1 (Non-Therapist)
The non-therapist section of this training is exclusive to this course and will allow you to become a wellness practitioner with zero prior experience.
It will take you through therapist expectations, competency, gathering information and much more.
The next section shifts its focus to the acupuncture.
Our auricular acupuncture level 1 qualification is comprehensive and wide-ranging.
It covers all that is required by the National Occupational Standard (NOS) and associated Skills for Health.
The detail is given in the Auricular Acupuncture Guide.
During this qualification, you will become familiar with, and competent in, a 5 point protocol used in many health care settings.
It is used to support clients through a variety of health care concerns. It is primarily used to support those affected by cancer and people facing addiction.
It is widely used as it has many proven benefits and very few contraindications.

- The auricular acupuncture points which may support your client as they manage their weight
- Points which may be more specific to your client and their experience of managing weight
- A system of matching the points to the needs of your client
- How to use a decision tree to identify the auricular acupuncture points most relevant to your client
You will be given a step by step process to identify the underlying factors relevant to your clients, and the points to match to those factors, allowing you to create a bespoke protocol for your clients.
In addition, you will be given a baseline protocol, to which you can add your bespoke points.

- information cards to help your clients to identify and manipulate body acupuncture points, facilitating additional self-care support between treatments
- a suggested clinic programme for you to offer to clients who seek to manage their weight

In-Person Practical Training
You will be required to attend one in-person training day for the Auricular Acupuncture Level 1 course.
Case Studies
Auricular Acupuncture Level 1
You are required to give 3 treatments to 5 different people within 3 months of your practical training. When you have completed this practical learning you will book a session with a tutor to discuss your learning as well as any challenges faced.
You are required to share images of your client and needling at this stage.
Certificate in Weight Management Auricular Acupuncture
No case studies are required for the certificate.
You may wish to upgrade your qualification to a Postgraduate Diploma upon completion of 5 x 2 case studies.
These are completed independently and assessesed according to the criteria set out in the case study booklet. The booklet is available to you as soon as you sign up for the upgrade.
Please note - you are required to share images of your client and needling at this stage.
Your Diploma is issued when you have successfully completed 10 treatments.
We require you to complete your case studies within 3 months of completing your online learning.
