Beauty Despite Cancer launches new ‘hero’ skincare productJun 11, 2021
This month we are launching a new, multi-purpose skincare product through our Beauty Despite Cancer site.
A multi-purpose skincare product for men
Hero is being launched on Father’s Day (because all dads are heroes). It is a true skincare ‘hero’ in the form of a multi-purpose natural moisturising and soothing balm that’s designed as a luxury part of everyday skincare. Serving a variety of functions, the balm can be applied to areas of concern including the scalp, face, body, hands, nails, and feet.
Containing shea butter, sweet almond oil, calendar oil and vitamin E as well as lime, bergamot, cardamom, and black pepper essential oils, it is fresh smelling and easy to use. Users simply warm a small amount between your fingertips before applying as required.
Meeting men’s skincare needs during and beyond cancer
We created the product because we felt there was a gap in the market for a luxurious skincare solution that is simple and easy to use.
Jennifer says: “Through our own anecdotal research as well as wider reporting in the industry, we know that many individuals want and need simple skincare regimes using a minimal number of products but without compromising on luxury. Whether it’s part of regular self-care or supporting skin, scalp and nails during and beyond cancer treatment, there is still a need for products that nurture, are effective and that make individuals feel good. That’s what we wanted to achieve with Hero – it’s a hero product for all heroes.”
To celebrate the launch, we are asking individuals to nominate friends, colleagues, loved ones and professionals who have gone above and beyond over the last 12 months, and who deserve a little pampering and recognition.
We are asking people to nominate anyone in one of the following categories:
- Lockdown hero
- NHS hero
- Carer hero
- Young person hero
- Therapist hero
To nominate a hero, follow the link below and tell us their story.
