How wrong was I?

Huge and heartfelt thanks for all of your support in 2020. I don’t know what I would have done without you. We went through some stuff together didn’t we?

I look back at January and it was a different life – meeting new people face to face, delivering training onsite instead of online, travelling towards a winter sun. I consider the middle of March and it is still a different life – the world changed decisively and quickly and we were left reeling.

Many of us have been deprived of basic human needs but, as we reflect, we also feel the changes are for the best and better things are to come.

Ever the optimist, I am sure better things are headed our way, maybe they are here already.

Oh how wrong was I??

I wrote these words on the evening of 18 December 2020. Less than 24h later and we were introduced to Tier 4 and  Christmas was cancelled.  A few days after that and we are all under a Tier 4 threat and our borders are closed.

Who knows what the world will look like when we are back after Christmas.

Luckily, I make my own videos and was able to edit the one I created before Tier 4 was a thing.
