A therapeutic body massage harnessing the power of evidence-based complementary techniques. Identifying your well-being concern, your therapist will select the appropriate well-being therapeutic body oil for your treatment whilst using specialist techniques, gentle acupressure and soothing massage to make this a deeply relaxing experience. Acupressure plasters are applied on specific areas to enhance the benefits of the treatment and alleviate concerns further and to continue your relaxation journey.
This specialist treatment is based on the same beliefs as shiatsu, aromatherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Considering the flow of energy in the body, the therapist applies pressure to specific areas of the body with the aim of addressing matters of concern to the client.
Designed to be adapted to the individual, the treatment focuses on nine core areas:
Combining acupressure points with dedicated body oils makes the treatment adaptable, luxurious and efficacious.
The Therapeutic Oncology Massage qualification is a certified course, accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists. Upon the successful completion of the course, you will be able to provide this specific therapy and you will be eligible for insurance to welcome clients who have been diagnosed with cancer, without requiring medical consent.
